About the Role

This position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in finance and administration within a leading construction company. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting accounting, payroll, purchasing, and administrative functions while developing your career in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial and administrative operation of the business — assisting in the processing of accounts, payroll, and financial reports, maintaining accurate records, supporting purchasing and inventory management, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our corporate systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform general administration tasks for the Management Team, including reception duties and visitor coordination.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including debtor management and record‑keeping.
  • Support the Payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Enter and reconcile financial data using ERP and accounting software.
  • Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory requirements (banking, BAS, tax, ledgers, etc.).
  • Support stock management and purchasing.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative and financial systems.
  • What You’ll Bring

  • NSW Driver’s Licence
  • Qualification or progress towards a Cert IV in Business Administration or Accounting & Bookkeeping.
  • Previous experience in finance, administration, or a related role is advantageous, but not required — we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, plan, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
