Description
We are seeking a dedicated aquatic team leaderto oversee the operations of our seasonal pools including Albion Park, Warilla and Shellharbour ocean pool to provide exceptional standards of safety, customer service, and facility maintenance.
This role will be pivotal in maintaining the quality of water, leading a team, and organising aquatic activities and managing budgets.
Responsibilities include :
- Operational Oversight : Manage the day to day operations of the pool, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
- Water Quality Management : Monitor and maintain the quality of water in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership : Lead, motivate and support a team of lifeguards to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold the council’s image.
- Rostering : Manage efficient rostering schedules for adequate staffing levels for all operational hours and ensure accurate completion of staff and plant timesheets.
- Aquatic Activities : Coordinate aquatic programs and events to cater to diverse community needs and interests.
- Budget Management : Monitor and manage budgets related to pool operations for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Winter Maintenance Planning : Coordinate and prepare for scheduled winter maintenance of seasonal pools to ensure readiness for the next operational season.
- Reporting : Prepare regular reports on pool operations, maintenance activities, data analysis of trends of pool usage and customer service feedback.
