As our Account Manager for our leading 4PL customer, based at Mascot, you will act as the central link between our control tower, the customer's operational teams, and our broader logistics ecosystem. You’ll play a critical role in orchestrating seamless end‑to‑end supply chain performance across multiple partners and providers.
In this fast‑paced aviation logistics environment, where each day brings a new challenge, you’ll have the autonomy to make informed decisions, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement. Your leadership, customer management and analytical skills will shape the future logistics through data‑driven insights and innovative technology.
Your duties will include :
- Serve as the primary 4PL partner, deeply understanding their operational landscape and supporting them in optimising service delivery and business growth.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency, reliability and innovation across the extended supply chain to give a competitive edge.
- Translate operational and commercial expectations into actionable 4PL strategies, ensuring all service providers deliver consistently high performance.
- Manage financial performance, including P&L oversight, cost optimisation, and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth of the dnata partnership.
- Oversee all key account functions, including issue escalation, service recovery, claims management, root‑cause analysis, performance reporting and contractual compliance.
- Drive operational excellence and engagement, influencing without direct authority across multiple internal teams and external partners.
- Own the account strategy, covering relationship governance, QBR preparation, performance scorecards and contract renewal management.

To be successful as an Account Manager in this role, you will bring :
Proven success in logistics, 3PL or 4PL operations, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and deliver high‑quality service outcomes.Account Management experience ideally gained within the Airline, Service or Hospitality sectors, demonstrating strong customer engagement and service‑driven partnership building.Intermediate to advanced MS Office capability, including Excel and PowerPoint, along with exposure to Warehouse Management Systems and operational data tools.Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to engage senior leaders and secure mutually beneficial partner agreements.Hands‑on P&L management experience, including budgeting, forecasting and delivering sustainable financial performance.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence, build trust and deliver clear, professional written and verbal messaging.Accelerate your career with DHL and APPLY NOW.
