The role
The role of the Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) is as a participant facing representative of the Australian Epilepsy Project (AEP) central team, within the Florey. https : / / www.epilepsyproject.org.au /
The CTA is primarily responsible for the collection and management of cognitive / psychological data in the AEP, completing multiple assessments per week (epilepsy and control participants). They would also complete the necessary screening and recruitment procedures, telephone / videoconference interviews and review participant questionnaires and diaries throughout participants’ 24-month follow-up period. They would also be responsible for maintaining the study database.
Alongside the AEP Central Clinical Trials team, the CTA will assist in the accurate implementation of the protocol to ensure complete data sets are acquired for each participant.
This role will assist in building rapport with other local clinical trials hubs for optimal experience for participants in the study.

The role attracts an annual salary range of $75,139 - $86,313 (Professional Staff Level 5.1-5.8), commensurate with experience.
