Junior Payroll Officer – Full-Time

Are you looking to kickstart your career in payroll? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Payroll Officer to join our busy team at Compas Recruitment. What you’ll be doing :

Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing for our contractors
Maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy
Responding to payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner
Supporting compliance with relevant legislation and awards
Working closely with our finance and recruitment teams to ensure smooth payroll operations

What we’re looking for :

A keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in payroll and finance

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic understanding of payroll principles (training will be provided)

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Experience with payroll systems or data entry would be an advantage

Ideally some relevant tertiary education (finance, business admin, or HR)
