Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to help keep the magic running behind the scenes. Enjoy a supportive team, flexible part-time hours, and a workplace filled with history, creativity, and charm.

This is a part-time role (24 hours per week) , which can be worked over three full days or four to five shorter days , depending on the successful candidate's preference. Please note that office presence is required on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consistent, process-driven work and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and meeting deadlines—while handling sensitive information with discretion and diplomacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of business accounts
• Sales and cash reconciliations
• Payroll : Prepare and process weekly payroll, respond to employee payroll queries, and manage lodgement of superannuation, workers' compensation, and payroll tax
• Accounts Payable : Enter supplier invoices, maintain payables schedules, load payments, and respond to supplier queries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Accounts receivable management
• Assist with the production of financial reports
• Maintain electronic filing systems
• Provide support to senior finance staff as required
