  • the Pathology & Imaging divisions, of one of Australia's leading providers diagnostics of private medical laboratory and pathology and imaging services. Healius Pathology operates over 100 medical laboratories and over 2,000 patient collection centers across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. Healius Pathology employs around 280 specialist pathologists and 7,800 scientists, technicians, collectors, and team members- The
  • Veterinary Pathology
  • division, Specialist Veterinary Services (SVS), have more than 2,000 clients nationally, more than 1,500 tests in our catalogue covering hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, cytology, histopathology, and endocrinology. Our patients are diverse, we work with universities, government departments and the veterinary industry. We produce results from four core labs and have 25 dedicated veterinary pathologists.
  • Primary Purpose of National Veterinary Pathology Business Development Partner
  • Maintain existing veterinary client relationships, build new client relationships through the identification of business opportunities. Create and implement strategic business development initiatives.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement strategic business development initiatives for veterinary pathology division.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders in the veterinary industry.
  • Collaborate with internal key stakeholders for standardisation and innovation in veterinary pathology.
  • Facilitate service delivery improvement and surpassing veterinary client service expectations.
  • Create long lasting relationships, based on trust, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Role Competencies
  • Significant Veterinary Industry customer service and business development experience
  • Customer Advocate. Responsive to customer enquiries, feedback, and resolution
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business Development and Business Intelligence tools experience - Power BI or similar
  • Experience with client CRM - Salesforce or similar highly regarded.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Quality Systems experience - familiarity of ISO 107025 Vet testing highly regarded
