We have a rare 12-month Team Mentor role available, supporting our Brisbane South- Gold Coast / Northern NSW region in a part-time or full-time capacity. Continuation as a senior therapist ensured, with opportunity for mentor role extension based on team and personal requirements and performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Team Mentor role combines clinical and operational leadership. While managing your own clinical caseload - either as a generalist or in your area of interest, you will support the Regional Manager in overseeing team performance and operations. Your focus will be on enhancing both operational and clinical outcomes by guiding team members, implementing strategies to meet and exceed delivery standards, and ensuring therapy teams have the resources needed to provide high-quality allied health services. This role plays a key part in fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture, promoting skill development, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise, coach, and guide team members to enhance skills, performance and career growth.
  • Promote collaboration, open communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Work with management to achieve regional goals in quality, growth, and innovation.
  • Support performance reviews, workflow management, and policy implementation, including complaint and incident management.
  • Effectively manage NDIS, private, and aged care caseloads, providing high-quality, evidence-based care as a Senior Therapist.

ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant Allied Health discipline - Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy.
  • 3 years + post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Experience supervising and coaching other therapists.
  • Experience within community-based settings and the NDIS is preferred.
  • Experience with and understanding of the disability, health and aged care sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Registration with a governing body.
  • NDISWC, WWCC / WWVPC.
  • Current Australian driver’s license and able to travel with your own vehicle.
  • Full Australian working rights.
