About the Roles

Are you a passionate and experienced communications, marketing,or media professional looking for a rewarding opportunity? About You

To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates withthe following experience :

  • Journalist / Communications experience : Strong writing andediting skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft engagingcontent.
  • Social media experience : Proficiency in leveraging social mediaplatforms to enhance brand visibility and engage with audiences effectively.
  • Website skill set / photography and videography : Experience inwebsite management, along with photography and videography skills to createcompelling visual content.
  • Graphic Designers : Proven experience in design, branding andmarketing campaigns with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Project advisor / Marketing experience : Demonstrated expertise inproject management and marketing strategies, with a focus on driving resultsand achieving organisational goals.

  • Place brand and major marketing reposition : Play a key role indeveloping and implementing our place brand strategy to drive visibility andattract investment and visitors to the Latrobe City region.
  • Latrobe City Council services marketing : Take charge ofpromoting our programs and venues, ensuring increased visitation and other opportunities.
  • Corporate style and branding redevelopment : Support the revamp ofour corporate style and branding guide.
  • Website updates : Manage and enhance our organisation's website,ensuring it remains engaging, informative, and user-friendly.
  • Communication engagement practices : Contribute to thedevelopment of online tools and practices to improve community engagement andcommunication.
  • Council plan engagement : Assist in planning and executing engagementstrategies for council plan updates, ensuring effective communication with thecommunity.
  • Media requests and speeches : Handle multiple media requests,providing dynamic and unique content, and prepare speeches for our Mayor andCouncillors.
  • Social media strategy : Contribute to the development andimplementation of our social media strategy to enhance our online presence andengage with our audience effectively.
