Job description

Job Title : A3 Building Certifier

Location : Newcastle

Salary : $90k-$115k+ 15% Superannuation

A Private Certification company servicing the Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast, and Sydney. We provide services to Architects, Builders, Developers, Draftsmen, Industry Experts, Designers, Solicitors, Conveyancers, Real Estate Agents, Homeowners, and Owner Builders.

Role Description :

This is a full-time remote role as an A3 Building Certifier. You will be responsible for overseeing building certification processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards on a day-to-day basis.

The role is a work from home role, except when undertaking inspections.

About you :

  • Relevant qualification such as Diploma in Building Surveying, Bachelor in Construction Management or other qualifications recognised by the Building and Development Certifiers Regulation
  • At least 5 years industry experience assessing and determining Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates and Occupation Certificates for class 1 & 10 residential buildings, along with knowledge of relevant applicable legislation
  • Construction Induction Card
  • Current drivers licence and legal work rights in Australia
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Must be at least A3 accredited

Responsibilities :

  • Issue of Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Occupation Certificates and modifications
  • Attend site inspections and client meetings
  • Providing building compliance advice to clients
  • Investigate and resolve customer requests
  • Involved in business improvement strategies
  • Attend industry events and training seminars
