💡 Electrician - Lighting Control Focussed - Tier 1 Projects

Our client is a national leader in electrical, automation, and building services , well known for delivering high-end projects across commercial, infrastructure, and defence sectors. They have built a reputation for technical excellence, reliability, and innovation, and are now expanding their lighting control service capability in Brisbane.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Electrician with strong Commercial and / or Industrial expertise. This position is hands-on across installation, commissioning, programming, training, and client support . You'll liaise with other electricians, project managers, and end-users to ensure lighting control systems are designed, delivered, and supported to the highest standard.

The role involves interstate travel every 4-6 weeks and requires either a Baseline Defence clearance or the ability to obtain one.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, configure, and commission KNX / Dynalite lighting control systems
• Program scenes, schedules, groups, dimming, and logic functions
• Provide client training and technical support both on site and remotely (TeamViewer, phone, email)
• Diagnose and resolve faults, carry out repairs, and maintain system reliability
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and engineers on control design and integration
• Complete project documentation - commissioning logs, test reports, As-Installed drawings
• Travel for major service or installation projects (approx. 1 week every 1-1.5 months)
