|| Workplace Location | Townsville region |## About the work unit / facilityThe Acute Care Team (ACT) within the Mental Health Service Group at Townsville University Hospital provides rapid response mental health triage, assessment, and consultation liaison services. Salary between $4138.10 – $4431.10 per fortnight (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1).
4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.Additional benefits include ( working-for-us / salary-and-benefits / salary-packaging ), ( working-for-us / leave ), and professional development support.## About your opportunityAs a Clinical Nurse in the Acute Care Team, you will provide advanced mental health nursing care, mobile crisis response, and consultation liaison services. You will work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver high-quality care, lead clinical decision-making, and contribute to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.## Requirements
Bachelor of Nursing and current registration with AHPRA.
Evidence of vaccination against VPDs and TB screening as per Queensland Health policy.
Possession of or working towards postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing (highly desirable).
Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (highly desirable).
Current Class C driver licence.
