The analyst will provide stock recommendations based on thorough analysis, financial models and company / industry insights.

The analyst must be able to present and market effectively, externally to fund managers and clients and, internally to institutional sales and sales traders.

Analysts should view their role as an integral part of the team's success.

Responsibilities include conducting in-depth analysis, building financial models, and communicating ideas to clients and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide proactive and differentiated research on the small cap sectorDevelop financial models and valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverageRespond to market news, earnings releases, corporate developments and other market-moving information in a proactive mannerDevelop and maintain key client relationshipsActively engage with clients and the relevant sales team members to communicate ideas to ensure maximum exposure / return from the time invested in producing research reportsMaintain sound working relationships with corporates, clients and government / industry organisationsQualifications / RequirementsBachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and / or accounting major3-10 years' experience as a research associate / analyst; alternatively funds management, accounting and industry experience would be consideredStrong analytical skillsStrong understanding of financial modellingExcellent interpersonal sensitivityHigh sense of commercial awarenessExcellent communication, relationship and management skills to both internal and external clients
