  • Contribute to managing challenging behaviours through appropriate procedures.
  • Provide health promotion and education to patients, families, and carers.
  • Support student learning, new staff orientation, and graduate preceptorship.
  • Participate in evaluative research activities and apply evidence-based guidelines to improve outcomes.
  • Offer guidance and review decisions made by students, Enrolled Nurses, and less experienced Registered Nurses.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Are you a Registered Nurse (or eligible for registration) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible to hold a current practising certificate?
  • Do you have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice, aligned with professional standards?
  • Are you committed to continuous professional development as you grow from a novice to a proficient practitioner?
  • Do you have experience working effectively with Aboriginal consumers in a culturally safe and respectful way?
  • Are you confident in delivering person-centred care while accepting accountability for your own practice and delegated activities?
