We’re now seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer ready to take ownership of design and development projects that make a real impact in the mining and heavy equipment space.

About the Role

As our Mechanical Engineer, you will :

  • Develop and release 3D models, production drawings, and BOMs
  • Maintain a 3D CAD library and convert 2D / scan data into robust designs
  • Lead engineering phases, ensuring on-time, high-quality project delivery
  • Collaborate with clients, manufacturing, and quality teams to bring concepts to life
  • Eliminate failure modes and support product development and re-engineering initiatives
  • Contribute to QMS audits and explore future manufacturing like 3D printing

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (RPEQ or eligible within 12 months)
  • Strong background in mining or HME engineering
  • Proficiency with CAD / FEA tools (PTC Creo or similar)
  • Strategic problem-solver with hands-on experience in end-to-end design
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative, client-focused approach
  • Organised and adaptable - ready to lead multiple engineering tasks and projects
