Position Title : Team Leader - Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (Cooktown)

Location : Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, Cooktown

Remuneration :

Comprising salary between $132562.00 - $146883.00 p.a employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%)

To manage the delivery of the Mental Health services within a quality improvement framework and within a complex and varied environment across the multidisciplinary team over multiple sites within the Torres and Cape Region.

To be successful in this role you will have :

• Provide managerial and operational leadership in conjunction with the Director of MHAODS in the development, implementation and monitoring of programs, policies, procedures protocols, State-wide and National Standards enhancing service delivery and coordination across the continuum of care across the MHAODS network.
• Sound knowledge of and experience in the application of mental health standards, policy, strategies and legislation including recovery and consumer and carer participation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability, to provide high level authoritative counsel, consultation, negotiation, written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with complex issues, to stakeholders.
