Banquet Supervisor

In your new role as Catering Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of functions and events for our clients. You will oversee F&B operations and be responsible for engaging with our guests supervising and supporting your team with daily activities and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. Reporting to the Catering Operations Manager you will enjoy working as part of a team on a rotating roster in a fast-paced environment. This role will oversee functions events and meeting.

What will I be doing

Consistently deliver a friendly helpful and inclusive experience to guests and team members.

Train and develop team members ensuring they maintain a professional manner and are up to date with VIP guest movements hotel events local attractions and activities.

Supporting daily Catering Operations by being hands on.

Proactively sense and take action on customer needs and opportunities with the willingness to exceed their expectations.

Supervise the team ensuring that brand standards are met and guest expectations are exceeded.

Understand menu content any menu changes and promotional activities.

Assisting with rostering and administration tasks.

What are we looking for

Experience in a Food and Beverage Supervisory role or strong experience in an F&B service role preferable within a hotel environment.

Fluent in the English in order to communicate professionally with guests and team members both in person via emails and over the telephone.

A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict and work efficiently under pressure.

Well-presented organised and calm personality.
