Job descriptionDeliver expert Anatomical Pathology services that make a difference by providing timely, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic and consultation services that are both cost-effective and tailored to meet the clinical needs of referrers across Queensland. Play a key role in shaping the future of Anatomical Pathology by helping to design and implement strategic frameworks grounded in global best practices. Supervise and support registrars, fostering their growth and ensuring the highest standards of professional development. Engage actively in discipline-specific meetings, departmental discussions, and multidisciplinary team forums—building strong partnerships and ensuring alignment with client needs.
An exciting opportunity for a permanent Staff Specialist Anatomical Pathologist located in Cairns.
A competitive salary applies : -
- Base salary
- Retention and attraction allowance (50% of base salary)
- MVA
- PDA
- Rural attraction and retention allowance (5% base salary)
- Location Allowance
