What You’ll Be Doing
The Presales Solution Architect – Managed Services will drive business growth by designing and presenting tailored managed services solutions to prospective and existing clients. The role bridges customer needs and technical capabilities, working closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to craft compelling, scalable, and cost‑effective service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Develop end-to-end managed services solutions across infrastructure, cloud, network, security, and workplace services.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with service capabilities and delivery models.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
Presales Engagement
Work with sales and account management to ensure timely delivery of pre‑sales activities and outcomes.Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and position appropriate managed services offerings.Lead technical presentations, workshops, and discovery sessions with clients.Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, RFP responses, and solution documentation.Stakeholder Collaboration
Coordinate with delivery, operations, finance, and legal teams to deliver a complete solution.Understand partner solutions and secure commercial terms, pricing, and subcontract arrangements.Manage the NetSuite queue and workload to prioritize solutions requests in line with business and sales objectives.Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Provide ideas for improving pre‑sales proposals and technical documentation.Contribute to new service offerings and enhancements to existing ones.What will make you successful in this role?
Minimum 5 years as a Solutions Architect.Minimum 5 years involved with Managed Services.Demonstrated experience in complex managed service projects and solution design aligned with organisational objectives.Analytical skills to identify technical and process issues and develop solutions.Experience engaging with key customer and business stakeholders at all levels.Experience in establishing, reviewing, and improving ICT managed services.Analysing service level agreements, performance frameworks, and commercial negotiations.High level communication skills and expert advice on ICT issues.Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise workloads.Experience with delivery managers, operations managers, and service desk leads.Enterprise and mid‑market commercial solutions experience.Federal, state and local government managed services experience.Evidence of wins in managed service contracts.Working Conditions
