Our client, based in Albury, is an outgoing individual who enjoys spending time outdoors, getting creative with crafts, and being involved in the local Men's Shed. Support will include assisting them to get out and about in the community, including driving their van to activities and appointments.

To do a great job, you'll need :

• Experience supporting people with a physical disability including transfers / use of equipment and confident in hoisting
• Experience in personal care (showering and dressing)
• Assistance with Domestic duties
• Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.
• Have great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with our client
• Willing to work with a care team approach and incorporate the guidance of professionals. This would include supporting our clients to undertake things like their physio programs, community access for example.
• Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values.
• Willing to work varied shifts with varied hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends together with some short shifts, sleepovers and active night shifts. We also need you to be able to commit to ongoing shifts.
• Full drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with providing transport in your own vehicle sometimes (we reimburse you for costs)

As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
