About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lifestyle Coordinator (Team Leader) to join our team at Pembroke Lodge in Minto, NSW. This full-time role involves leading a team of lifestyle carers to develop and deliver engaging activities and programs that enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for our aged care residents.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a diverse range of lifestyle activities and programs tailored to residents' needs and interests.
  • Coordinating and leading a team of lifestyle assistants to ensure high-quality, personalized care and engagement for all residents.
  • Collaborating with the broader care team to develop and implement care plans supporting residents' physical, emotional, social, and cognitive wellbeing.
  • Maintaining accurate records related to residents' participation and progress in lifestyle programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Providing training, mentoring, and support to lifestyle carers.

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualification in Lifestyle Coordination, Diversional Therapy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the aged care sector.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a person-centered approach.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop engaging lifestyle programs.
  • Thorough understanding of aged care regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology to support lifestyle coordination.
