    • This federal agency is seeking a Cyber Security Assurance / Audit Specialist responsible for optimising its ICT controls, overseeing organisational risks, and strengthening its ICT risk management framework.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Advise business units on key controls, risk management, and compliance.
  • Evaluate organisational processes and controls for risk and assurance.
  • Collaborate with 1st and 3rd Line of Defence stakeholders on risk and compliance activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional assurance tasks and monitor controls testing.
  • Document tasks in the agency's Risk and Compliance Management System.
  • Report assurance activities to senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the Cyber Security and Networks Branch.
  • Essential Requirements
  • Familiarity with the Information Security Manual, ACSC Essential Eight Maturity Model, and industry cyber security frameworks.
  • Experience in information security audit, assurance, and compliance.
  • Desirable
  • Tertiary education and certifications like Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in information security and ICT assurance.
