Alltech Lienert Australia, a successful animal nutrition premix and supplement manufacturing company, with over 40 years’ experience and backed by the support of its global parent company Alltech with 50 years’ experience, has an opportunity for an experienced Quality Co-ordinator to support our teams manufacture premix for our key clients in Australia.
Due to a strong product portfolio, long term partnerships with suppliers and customers, Alltech Lienert Australia is recognised as one of the leading manufacturers & suppliers of supplements, feed ingredients and technical support to the animal production and feed mill industries.
The role will see you responsible for the Quality assurance systems including HACCP, Feedsafe, FAMI-QS and GMP. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, internal and external audits, and quality documentation.
Your duties will include but not be limited to :
- Analyse the quality performance of the company by reviewing quality records and audit reports, and report relevant findings to the Executive team.
- Monitor and benchmark Quality Key Performance Indicators for functional areas, making and implementing changes to achieve optimum results.
- Control the Quality Systems by reviewing the quality manual, document control, and review of quality policies, procedures, work instructions, calibrations, and all other records.
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis / Conformance (CoA, COC).
- General QA support for Alltech Lienert and Customers.
- Management of the Action Request system (Corrective action) for continual improvement.
- Maintain the management system consistent with the requirements of HACCP, GMP, Alltech Quality Standards & Feedsafe, AVPMA, FAMIQS (FIAAA Code of Practice).
- Perform all necessary and specified audits in accordance with GMP, HACCP, and AQS regulations.
- Coordinate preparation and shipment of lab samples.
- Oversee the quality sampling program for raw material & finished product, viewing assay results & liaising with external laboratories when required.
- Promote and provide guidance for the activity of continuous improvement and quality awareness to ensure that proper procedures are followed.
- Train, engage & embed quality into all employees.
Your skills & experience will include :
In-depth knowledge of all relevant codes, standards, and specifications relating to Quality requirements and their application to the company.Minimum of three years’ experience in quality management.Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.Ability to create strong working relationships across a diverse team.Ability to be flexible and analytical.Good record keeping and documentation skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Computer and information technology literacy.Ability & willingness to travel locally & internationally within the scope of the job.Knowledge of Company policies and procedures.Ideally, you will have a proven background in Quality certifications within the feed industry. You will directly liaise with our operational, commercial, and support teams.
You will need to have exceptional customer service skills, be self-motivated, have established time management skills, display a professional presentation, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a close nutritional sales team.
