Hiring : Machinist – Fitter & Turner

Location : Chermside, QLD

Pay : $40 per hour + Overtime

Hours : Monday to Thursday : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM Friday : 7 : 00 AM – 1 : 00 PM

About the Role : We are looking for a skilled Machinist – Fitter & Turner to join our team. You will be responsible for machining metal components, maintaining equipment, and ensuring products meet customer specifications. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an industry leader in metal manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate machining, cutting, drilling, and pressing equipment

Experience with manual lathes and other precision machining tools

Fabricate components to Australian Standards

Perform preventative maintenance on plant and equipment

Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance

Maintain a clean and safe workspace Requirements

Trade Qualified – Fitter & Turner or Machinist or lots of experience!

Experience with manual lathes & industrial machines

Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills

Ability to read & interpret work orders and technical drawings

Commitment to workplace safety & compliance
