ABOUT THE ROLE
Don’t want to be stuck behind a desk? Have a passion for cars, trucks and machinery? We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning individual to join our Operations team on a fixed term contract for 8 months at our Townsville branch. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8 : 00am – 5pm!
Your key responsibilities will include :
Ensure all incoming stock is accurately booked into Pickles Auctions System (features and damage recorded), photographed and uploaded to our system within the required timeframesDeliver outstanding customer service to vendors and buyers by quality checking & upon delivery of assets to buyersResponding to vendor / customer questions within 4 business hoursDelivering and collecting assets to manufacturer / mechanics for inspections / repairsDelivering assets to Purchasers and TransportersFollow all WHS policies and procedures as required, including but not limited to COR, SAO, Inductions.Assist other team members with their duties as required.Work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the branchABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience :
Passion for cars, trucks & machinery, or experience in a similar role / industry will be highly regardedCurrent & valid drivers' license with ability to drive manual (essential)Attention to detailBe comfortable working outdoorsCompetent verbal & written communication skillsBasic computer skills / ability to use an iPadAbility to maintain quality standards and meet deadlinesAbility to work as part of a teamWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
