massage therapist

We are looking for a passionate and skillful remedial massage therapist to work full time in our well established rehabilitative and relaxation clinic in Haymarket. Our team of experienced practitioners offers a range of holistic therapies, including remedial, deep tissue, pregnancy, sports and post-operative massage treatments. We are committed to helping our clients achieve optimal health and wellbeing.

Minimum of two years’ experience post diploma is required.

Remuneration is $77,500 per year.

Expected hours : 38 per week.

All applicants must be able to :

• Conduct client / patient consultations to accurately assess their needs and problem areas;
• Develop effective individual treatment programme for each client including home care;
• Deliver custom designed remedial, deep tissue massage to assist in healing and / or relaxation of muscles, tendons and ligaments;
• Apply specialised sports and / or lymphatic drainage massage skills to assist in healing or prevention of injuries;
• Educate clients on the myriad benefits of massage therapy;
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Showcase professional manners and be well presented.

Personal Characteristics about You

Qualifications : ANZZSCO Skill Level 2, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Remedial massage or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Desirable Skills : Experience in sports massage and lymphatic drainage massage techniques.
