Job description

The Firm

This is one of Perth’s most well-regarded boutique accounting practices, a firm with deep roots, long-standing client relationships, and a team culture that genuinely prioritises people. Located just outside the CBD in modern, well-appointed offices, the team blends traditional values with a progressive, forward-thinking approach to service and operations.

Here, you’ll find structure without rigidity, leadership without ego, and a workplace where excellence is achieved through care, consistency, and collaboration. With a strong reputation in the WA business community and a steady pipeline of work, the firm continues to grow, and now needs an experienced Office Manager to ensure everything behind the scenes runs seamlessly.

The Opportunity

This is more than just keeping the wheels turning. As the firm’s Office Manager, you’ll become the backbone of the practice, ensuring operations are smooth, systems are sharp, and both clients and colleagues feel genuinely supported.

You’ll be empowered to take full ownership of the day-to-day function of the firm, with the trust and autonomy to make decisions, refine systems, and be a key part of how the practice evolves. It’s a hands-on, high-trust role for someone who thrives in a well-established environment where your expertise will be respected and relied upon.

Your day-to-day will include :

  • Managing the smooth operation of daily workflows and being the central point of contact across the practice
  • Overseeing ASIC compliance (via NowInfinity or similar) with meticulous attention to deadlines
  • Handling ATO lodgements and managing firm correspondence and document control
  • Updating and maintaining client records through MYOB AE and internal systems
  • Assisting with client billing, invoicing, and basic debtor follow-ups
  • Liaising directly with clients for documentation, onboarding, and general queries
  • Supporting new client onboarding and ensuring compliance standards are consistently met
  • Driving process improvements and helping refine internal systems
  • Organising staff events and creating a sense of internal cohesion and support
  • Working closely with Partners to ensure clarity around priorities, capacity, and deadlines

The Candidate

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring :

  • At least 5+ years experience as an Office Manager, Senior Administration or Client Services role within an accounting or professional services firm to be considered
  • Familiarity with MYOB AE and ASIC compliance platforms such as NowInfinity (or similar)
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and friendly manner
  • High attention to detail and a process-driven approach to work
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A genuine interest in continuous improvement, both in systems and service
  • The ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
