Job description

The Senior Back-End (Node.js) Engineer position at Eartheye Space is an immediate joining opportunity.

Eartheye Space is a fast-paced organisation. You will be accountable for the timely delivery of the back-end application requirements of the Eartheye platform. You will work collaboratively with the front-end (Angular) and computer vision / machine learning engineers.

Have worked on Node.js in at least three projects / products
You are an expert in APIs
Have worked with GDAL, Rasterio, GeoPandas or similar
Worked in the AWS or equivalent cloud environment
Have worked in a containerised application environment
Have expert knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Worked on a high-performance, scalable internet or enterprise application

Work Experience

You should have :

At least five years of Node.js experience. Please don’t apply if you don’t have the required experience; we won’t get in touch with you.

Experience using GenAI.

Worked in a micro-release environment. By our cadence, 2-3 feature releases per week.

Must be able to solve complex problems under tight timelines.

Highly attentive to detail.

Research-driven and self-motivated.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Able to work in an agile environment with constant change.

Clear communication skills—both spoken and written English.
