Summit Homes Group is seeking an experienced Concreter to join our residential construction team on a full-time basis. This role involves carrying out concreting works across new home builds and residential developments, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard in line with Australian building requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Erecting concrete formwork and laying steel reinforcing for residential slabs, footings, paths and driveways
- Pour, spread and level concrete using screeds and templates
- Tamp, smooth, shape and seal concrete
- Operate trowelling machines to float, trowel and polish concrete surfaces
- Form expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straight edges
- Install fixtures in concrete such as anchor bolts, steel plates and door sills
- Wet concrete and rub with abrasives to finish vertical surfaces
- Cover concrete with plastic sheeting and sand to assist curing
- Cut lines in concrete using power cutters
- Apply colouring and other materials to freshly poured concrete where required

Proven experience as a Concreter within residential constructionAbility to read and interpret plans, drawings and site instructionsExperience operating concreting tools, machinery and equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a site-based teamCommitment to workplace health and safety standardsWhat we offer
