This role is Permanent, Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight, based in IKEA Service Office, Tempe, NSW.
The internal job title for this role is Co-worker Communication Leader.

About this work area As Internal Communications Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop, lead, and implement the country co-worker communication strategy in alignment with Ingka strategy, ensuring a secure communication process from definition through execution and follow-up.
Responsible for the development and delivery of the country Co-worker Communication agenda, content and channels.
Develop creative and innovative ways to communicate with co-workers throughout the organisation.
Business partner for multiple stakeholders in the business with a key link to People & Culture to deliver key communication and drive engagement with the many co-workers.
Collaboratively work with internal and external stakeholders by engaging and responding to briefs related to their area of the business, through developing a deep understanding of stakeholder drivers and target communication effectively to deliver results.
Build a deep understanding of business objectives across multiple functions, in order to tie communications work directly to desired business outcomes.
Share information and expert advice for business partners within the scope of the Co-worker Communication remit.
Proactive collaboration with global Group Communication to enhance the Co-worker Communication strategy's development, while also adapting and implementing global standards and guidelines to ensure market relevance.
As Internal Communications Leader you are:
A highly influential leader and business partner with a strong ability and passion for securing the co-worker communication agenda across the IKEA Australia business.
An experienced communications professional with deep knowledge in digital communication tools.
Able to communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way with the IKEA tone of voice.
Highly experienced in leading communication by planning, executing and following up to ensure that our co-workers are well-informed and engaged.
Agile, adaptable and resilient to rapidly changing business needs in order to achieve results.
