Bring your investment risk expertise to HESTA. Join our growing Investment Risk team, where you'll play a key role in strengthening our capabilities and driving impactful outcomes for our members.
What You'll Do
As the Investment Risk Specialist , you will collaborate with the General Manager Investment Risk to monitor and oversee HESTA's risk management and governance framework as it applies to the activities of the Investment Management and Investment Execution teams. You'll also partner with these teams and contribute to Investment risk management capabilities.

What You'll Bring
Extensive experience in a similar investment risk role, ideally from superannuation, financial services and / or consulting firms. Your breadth of experience spans across investment risk analysis , quantitative modelling , coupled with a demonstrated interest in investments and markets . Experience in model risk management , validation or development is also desirable. You are highly analytical with curiosity, work ethic and effective communication, influencing and stakeholder relationship management skills.
Tertiary qualifications - a Bachelor's degree and / or postgraduate degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative discipline (e.g. engineering, actuarial science, finance / economics, mathematics, statistics, physics) is required; and professional certifications (e.g. CFA, FRM) will be advantageous.
