  • Description:
    • Up to $33.61 per hour plus benefits
    • Part-time with stable shifts to suit your hours
    • Development/leadership opportunities; supportive multi-disciplinary team

    What youll be doing in this role

    AtUnitingwe call our Home Care Workers, 'Support Workers'. In this role, youll provide care and companionship for older people living in their own homes, to help empower their independence and improve their quality of life in theNambucca Valley area. Youll be required to travel to clients homes and communities, using your own car.

    With a focus on supporting our clients to stay independent in their own homes for as long as possible, duties and responsibilities can include:

    • Help at home:housekeeping, grocery shopping or meal preparation
    • Personal Care:personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime or medication administration
    • Transport:appointments or shopping trips
    • Social and wellbeing:accompany clients on outings or assist with our Healthy Living for Seniors activities

    Qualifications and experience:

    • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual equivalent an advantage
    • Similar experience providing client centred care
    • Current First Aid certificate
    • Drivers licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
