Practice Nurse - RN (Div 1) - Mornington Peninsula Area

Tasks & responsibilities

• Ensure at all times the highest level of customer service through optimal communication, presentation and professional expertise.
• Recognise and uphold the rights of patients and candidates accessing services, including maintaining cultural sensitivity.
• Health assessments and chronic care management, triage, immunisations, injections, wound management, ECGs and assisting doctors with clinical procedures. Maintain sound clinical documentation.
• Perform clinical duties within the required level of clinical competency, according to best available evidence and within the guidelines of policies.

Qualifications & experience

• Current unrestricted nursing registration with AHPRA (Div.1)
• Registered Nurse/ Enrolled Nurse (RN/EN) qualifications
• Previous medical centre experience in general practice preferred but not essential
• Ability to multi-task, time manage and work autonomously and effectively in a busy environment
• Intermediate to advance computer skills
• Exceptional customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to ethical behaviour, conduct and best practice
