About you:
If you have a minimum 6+ years Veterinarian experience and have been a Leader or looking to step into a Lead role as your next step, this is the opportunity for you.
We’re looking for someone who loves to support their team and bring out the best in them. You don’t have to be the most experienced or advanced Veterinarian in your team always! Your leadership focus should be on high-quality care, care for your team, growth mindset and just being on a journey to continuously focus on culture, best patient care and best clinic outcomes.
You must be a fully registered Vet or be eligible for full registration in Australia!

Veterinary Training Centre, CE Allowance, Study Leave, Workshops + Online Learning
At Launceston Vet Clinic, we’re genuinely invested in your growth and development. As a permanent team member, you’ll receive complimentary access to our Veterinary Training Centre (VTC) in Victoria, offering tailored courses, practical wet labs and hands-on workshops designed specifically for veterinary professionals.
And being based in Tasmania won’t mean missing out - we’ll arrange your travel to Victoria to attend VTC training, giving you access to practical learning, development and connection with vets from across our network.
You’ll also have access to a CE allowance, study leave and online learning opportunities, with ongoing support from our approachable Vet Manager, Dr Emma Christie, and Tasmania-based Regional Manager, Dan Wiggins!

• As a full-time Lead Vet, your standard roster could be 38 hours over 4 days! Option to work shorter hours across 5 days could be considered.
• NO work on weekends and NO public holidays.
• Clinic hours: 8.30am AM - 6.30pm PM across Monday – Friday only!
• Balanced shifts with 20minute scheduled appointment times for consultations & treatments and 30minutes for complex etc. No after hours & no on call
