We are currently offering a great opportunity for an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter tojoin our Nutrien Water Engineering Malaga, WA team.

About the opportunity :

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, In conjunction with your studies you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of machinery both out on site & in the workshop. You shall have an interest in Machining, fitting & CNC machine operations & keen to learn a multi facet business.

In addition, you will :

• Assist with diagnosing and repairing system faults.
• Keep records and ensure that activities are completed to deadline and job sheet requirements.
• Assist with safe installation of all components required such as all types of pumping systems, machinery, pipe work including commissioning and trouble shooting.

About You :

To be successful you must have :

• Completed minimum year 10 in secondary education
• A can-do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail
• A desire to learn an understand mechanical systems.
• Class C drivers’ licence (Minimum).
• Forklift ticket (Desirable).
• Your own reliable transport.
