About You :
The ARC Training Centre for Whole Life Cycle Design of Carbon Neutral Infrastructure (“the Centre”) will bring together expertise from 21 academic and industry partners, including universities, government authorities, professional associations, and consulting companies.
The Centre aims to transform infrastructure stakeholders’ ability to design, construct, operate, and dispose of infrastructure in a carbon‑neutral manner, leading the world in sustainable infrastructure design and enabling industry to meet Australia’s emission reduction targets.
The Research Assistant will be a key member of the Centre’s interdisciplinary team, collaborating with research teams and experts across university nodes and industry partners. The role involves independent and team research in carbon assessment and management of infrastructures, structural engineering, structural reliability methods, circular economy of the built environment, and applications of artificial intelligence for data mining, processing, and modelling.
Travel to other nodes within Australia and potentially international sites may be required for collaborative work.
