Qualifications / Certifications

• MA / MS or higher with a graduate major in Communication Disorders / Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution and eligible for DOE certification or DOH License.
• BA / BA in Communication Disorders / Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution and must be enrolled in graduate-level coursework prior to expiration of temporary DOE certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training may be required by assignment.
• Eligibility for certification from the Florida Department of Education in Speech-Language Impaired and / or licensure from the Florida Department of Health in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Preferred : Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
