Residential Care Officer

Our client is looking for experienced Residential Care Officers located in Toowoomba Queensland. This a for a highly experienced senior role for the facilities.

This role will require the following essential skills :

• Client training needs and support assessments programs including the planning and development of educational training and support programs
• Identify the nature and extent of each client's difficulties
• Monitoring and reporting on the progress of clients
• Referrals to support agencies to provide additional help
• Assessment of resources required (for health, welfare, housing and other facilities and services).
• Liaising with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies and private business about community issues and promoting awareness of community resources and services.
• Supporting families and providing educational care for children
• Supervision and helping young people address social, emotional and financial problems
• Preparation of submission for funding and resources and reporting as necessary

Required :

AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.

Salary Range of $80,000-$95,000 + superannuation
