About the job…

At the Novotel Surfers Paradise, we are not only focused on our guests, but also our people. We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic, experienced Housekeeping Atttendants to join our diverse Housekeeping team. Ideally you have previous experience in a similar role, in a hotel with 200+ rooms, we are offering casual and permanent part-time positions.

As part of the Housekeeping team you will be responsible for offering a quality customer service experience by maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, guest corridors and service areas.  Involving but not limited to changing bed linen, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and restocking amenities.

What is a Housekeeping All Rounder, you have experience as a Room Attendant, as a Public Area Attendant and may have even worked as a Houseperson. In this position you are rostered in any area as needed.

You enjoy working in a team environment.

Key responsibilities :

• Attending to guest enquiries and requests in a timely manner
• Cleaning guests rooms as required, seeing them shine
• Cleaning Public Areas, you have great attention to detail
• A team player, happy help out wherever needed in Housekeeping, Rooms and Houseperson.
• Carrying out allocated cleaning duties to achieve brand standards throughout the hotel
• Transferring dirty linen and removing rubbish and recycling
• Safe handling and use of chemicals

To be successful in this role, you have a passion for the Hospitality Industry and are committed to delivering high levels of customer service, you will have unlimited work rights in Australia and will be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and Public Holidays as per our business demands.
