The role

Provide high quality, evidence based occupational therapy services to clients under Aged Care funding. You would work closely with clients and their care facilitators to assist people to live independently in their own home for as long as they can.

Due to growth, we are looking for Occupational Therapis ts to join our team. Roles are available around NSW and are open to both fulltime & part time hours with flexible working arrangements & work from home : =

• Inner West Sydney (Leichhardt. Ashfield & surrounds)
• Western Sydney (Kellyville, Parramatta & surrounds)
• South West Sydney (Bankstown & surrounds)
• Central West (Cowra & surrounds)
• Murrumbidgee (Wagga Wagga, Griffith & surrounds)
• Southern Highlands (Bowral & surrounds)
• Port Macquarie

About you :

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
• Post graduate experience working with a variety of aged care services, including the community setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients living in the community
• Knowledge of wellness, re-ablement and restorative care approaches
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team, and independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilise required software to support a working from home position
• Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisations values through interactions at work
• Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and a reliable registered vehicle with minimum of Third-Party Insurance
