We are looking for the next generation of Mining Engineers to join our talented and diverse team at Byrnecut.
About the Program :
Our comprehensive 24-month Graduate Mining Engineer Program offers newly qualified engineers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in key areas of the mining cycle. Graduates will rotate through essential underground operational roles, including Truck Operator, Service Crew, Charge‑up, Bogger Operator, and Driller, before advancing to Project Engineer training.
You’ll apply your academic knowledge in a dynamic underground mining environment at one of our Western Australian mine sites, gaining invaluable experience that will set the stage for your future career.

Upon completion of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to advance along either the operational career path, working towards your Underground Shift Supervisor and First Class Mine Manager certifications, or pursue a technical career by transferring to Mining Plus (a Byrnecut Group entity), where you’ll receive training in technical engineering services such as drill and blast, mine design, planning, and scheduling.
