• . Our Country operations are led by Area Managers with local site managers, while Metro operations follow a national functional structure. With increasing regulatory expectations, especially in Queensland where quarries are regulated similarly to mine sites, we’re expanding our team to ensure we maintain compliance.
• Your Role
• As our new Compliance Manager, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our front-line Quarry Managers and site leaders. You’ll help navigate the complex landscape of safety and environmental regulations, ensuring our operations not only meet but exceed compliance expectations.
• Key Responsibilities
• Coach and mentor Quarry Managers and Supervisors on compliance matters
• Collaborate with the National HSEQ team and Quarry leadership to
• standardise and improve systems and processes
• Develop
• user-friendly templates and documentation
• that align with current legislation
• Through consultation with local leaders, lead the development of an
• annual improvement plan
• aligned with national goals
• Actively engage with other regions to
• share learnings and avoid duplication of effort and documents
• About You
• Proven experience in compliance, safety, or environmental management within mining, quarrying, or heavy industry
• HSEQ or Quarrying qualifications will be highly regarded
• Strong understanding of Queensland’s regulatory framework for quarry operations
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across teams and regions
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
