Accountant

Based in Melbourne CBD, we have an outstanding opportunity for a motivated CPA / CA Accountant for preparation of quarterly BAS and IAS for SME clients as well as preparation of SMSF tax returns and financial statements

• At least 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in preparation of tax returns- companies, partnership, trusts, SMSFs and individuals
• CA/CPA qualified or currently completing
• Strong technical and organisational skills
• Time Management and Dedicated Work Ethic
• Proficient in accounting software – Xero, HandiSoft and BGL

Key Duties:

Your role will include but is not limited to:

• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
• Liaising with ATO and auditors with queries
• Preparation of SMSF trust deeds and SMSF set up documents
• Various research and drafting of tax advice
• There will be client contact, so strong and effective communication skills are essential.
