This is an exciting opportunity to act as a senior in charge across various ASX-listed engagements, working amongst our team of external auditors in Melbourne. Our team is growing due to the purposeful and impactful outcomes we deliver to our clients - that’s why we need you!

What will your typical day look like?

In this rewarding role, your leadership and mentoring skills will be highly valued and utilised as you act as a senior in charge on external audit engagements. To remain as an expert in the field, you will stay updated on regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure audit quality is maintained, and participate in innovation and development of new offerings to deliver more than traditional audit services. Your audit career will be enhanced through our wide range of clients, giving you continuous exposure to complex accounting issues and business environments. Beyond this, you have the opportunity to explore internal transfers that broaden and amplify your professional development.

About the team

In our Large and Complex team, you will obtain exposure to a diverse range of ASX Listed, large-scale multi-national groups, and private equity clients. Our industry segments include but are not limited to consumer, energy and resources, TMT, healthcare, and construction.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

• Minimum 3 years’ external audit experience
• Possess a bachelor’s degree or above in accounting/commerce or a related field
• Possess a CA qualification (or equivalent) or close to completion
• Professional services experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (preferable)
• Exposure to a variety of engagements and sectors
• Strong communication, leadership, project management, and multitasking skills
