PRINT FINISHER - DISPLAYS

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS :

We're looking for someone who is positive, passionate and a great communicator. You will be a supportive team member and assist your team members when required.

There is a great deal of autonomy in the role and to be effective you must be extremely organised, with strong attention to detail and possess the ability to respond quickly, problem solve and prioritise effectively. The position also requires you to be conscious of environmental damage to convert / recycle material and avoid wastage and be able to communicate internally and externally with stakeholders to ensure printing and finishing specifications are completed in an efficient and effective manner.

The position offered is day shift - Monday to Friday : 8am - 4pm.

To be eligible for the role you must possess 3 in print finishing.

The duties include :

1. Setting up and operating a Lamina Gluer and Lamina Blackline to bind the finished printed products.

2. Set up and run clamshell diecutting machines

3. Experience in operating a digital printer would be ideal

4. Able to resolve problems arising during the manufacturing process, including but not limited to printing / finishing machines, devices and other operation systems.

5. Able to supervise the operation of the gluing and laminating machines

6. Able to maintain strict quality control on all work produced in the finishing section.

7. Understand OH & S guidelines and procedures
