Catering Coordinator

Cooper Grace Ward has an exciting opportunity for a Catering Coordinator to join our Corporate Services team on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone with hospitality or customer service experience who is looking to build a career in a professional services environment. Working closely with our legal and administrative teams, Partners and the Executive team, you will help deliver seamless catering and client service across the firm.

The Role:

In this role, you will provide high-quality catering and client service support while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the Corporate Services team. You will also assist with a range of general administrative duties.

While full training and support will be provided, we are looking for a proactive, quality-focused team member who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering an excellent service experience.

The variety of work you will do includes:

  • Coordinate room set-up for meetings, functions and events.
  • Undertake food handling, basic food preparation and presentation.
  • Order catering through suppliers.
  • Provide tea and coffee service for clients.
  • Maintain effective catering stock rotation and control.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and internal tea points.
  • Maintain legislated food hygiene and safety practices.
  • General administration duties.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
  • Excellent personal presentation and a strong service focus.
  • Basic barista skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Initiative and the ability to follow through on requests.
