Early Childhood Teacher | Goodstart Somerville | $42-$63 / hr + Super | Kalgoorlie, Goldfields & Esperance WA

Our role :   As an Early Childhood Teacher at Goodstart, you'll ignite a love of learning in children, guiding their development with purposeful and energetic teaching practices. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with families, ensuring every child feels a profound sense of belonging and is supported to thrive. Your passion for teaching will shine through as you mentor and inspire educational practices in your room, collaborating with our centre leadership team to develop, review, and implement high-quality early learning programs, achieving outstanding outcomes for our children.

About Goodstart Somerville :

  • Lead a 94-place centre, providing quality early learning in a welcoming and community-focused environment.
  • Oversee a combined Kindy and Pre-Kindy age group, catering for up to 30 children daily, fostering a smooth transition between age groups.
  • Work alongside a dedicated Educational Leader who offers extensive support with program planning and curriculum development.
  • Engage with spacious indoor and outdoor environments designed to inspire curiosity, exploration, and hands-on learning.
  • Build strong relationships with families and the local community to create a nurturing and inclusive learning space.

    • You’ll need :

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current WA Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
  • Western Australia – Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRB WA) (applicants studying their Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) may be supported to apply for Limited Registration if certain conditions are met)
