Legal Assistant | Government Litigation

Are you a proactive Legal Assistant with 2–4 years' experience looking to join a respected law firm known for its positive culture and meaningful work?
We’re recruiting for a fantastic opportunity at a leading firm in their high-performing Government Litigation practice. This is an 11-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave—with real potential for a permanent role down the track.

You’ll be supporting a highly regarded Principal Lawyer and a large team of friendly, down-to-earth legal professionals in a collegiate, supportive team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Inbox and diary management for a busy Principal
• Preparing and filing tribunal and court documents
• Billing and file management
• Coordinating meetings and liaising with Government clients
• Preparing Briefs for Counsel

Who we’re looking for:

• 2–4 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally in litigation or government legal matters
