A day in the life of a Cater Care Chef: You will leave behind the unpredictable hours of standard restaurants and step into a structured, highly rewarding environment. Your day-to-day will involve:
Preparing and presenting high-quality, high-volume meals (breakfast, crib, dinner, and desserts).
Managing dietary requirements, allergies, and special requests with care.
Taking ownership of kitchen operations, including stock ordering, rotation, and stocktaking.
Maintaining impeccable hygiene and safety standards in line with our Food Safety programs.
Delivering fast, effective service with a smile and assisting the broader team as needed.
What you need to get a start:
Qualifications: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
Experience: High-volume bulk cookery experience is highly regarded, but a positive, fast-learning attitude is just as important.
Mindset: A motivated, 'can-do' attitude with a first-rate focus on safety and customer service.
Reliability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work seamlessly within a tight-knit team.
Clearances: Ability to obtain a current police clearance and pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
