Cleaning Services Assistant

We’re looking for a dedicated Cleaning Services Assistant to join the warm and welcoming team at Respect Alcheringa.

About the Role

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services throughout the home, ensuring all resident rooms, communal areas, and workspaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You'll work as part of a supportive team to help provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning services or a similar support services role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safe handling procedures, and infection prevention and control practices.
• A current National Police Certificate (or the ability to obtain one).
• Experience in residential aged care, healthcare, hospitality, or a similar environment is highly regarded.

To be considered for employment with Respect, all candidates must satisfy the legislative requirements of the Aged Care Worker Screening process to ensure suitability to work in the aged care sector.
